Web Internet File Transfer Conversion Led a team of twenty in the implementation of the SunTrust product Online File Transfer - a secure internet file-transmission system for Treasury Management Clients. We customized, re-branded and implemented Sterling Commerce’s Connect Enterprise product application on a Hewlett Packard RP 7410 UNIX server running WebSphere. Connect Enterprise 390 pulled the transmitted files from the server’s SAN for subsequent application processing on the mainframe. The application provided the options for the client of a browser interface or the use of any secure FTP client to initiate file transmissions. This effort was the bank’s third attempt to provide an acceptable file transmission solution to its customers.  The $750,000 project was completed on time and under budget. It eliminated a revenue run-off of treasury management clients going to competitors, because SunTrust lacked an Internet based transmission solution.  Over a dozen clients moved to production during the product pilot because of their enthusiasm with the solution.
